Bael tree's are originated from India.Also bael tress are found in shri lanka,Thailand,&malesia.
Bengal quince,golden apple,Japanese bitter orange,wood Apple are the Specie's of bael. This is one of medicinal plant.As of now bael fruits and bael leaves are used in Ayurveda's. Bael leaves are trifoliate.dark green in colour.
Bark of the tree is dark brown in coloured. long straight spines on bael bark.The gum is also as a clear ,gummy sap which exudes from branches.
Bael tree also has a huge religious significance in hindu Scripture's.Bael tree leaves  are favorite tree of Lord Mahadev.
 Bael fruits is tropical fruit which is sweet in taste and Aromatic.The fruit can be eaten fresh from trees or after being dried and produced into candy,toffee pulp powder.It can be made into sharbat.
Bela pana made in Odisha has fresh cheese milk,water,bael fruit pulp,sugar,black pepper powder and ice.
chemical constituents:
 Bael tree contains furocoumarins and Xanthotoxol.
Bael fruits contains vitamin C,betacarotene.

Uses of Bael:
*Bael has history of use in Ayurveda for the treatment of Digestive system isses.
*It is also used for constipication.
*Leaves have anti bacterial effects .
*The extract's from leave's have anti fungal as well as Anti viral abilities.
*It is used to treatment of Diarrhea and also to treat cholera.
*Bael is loaded with vitamins A,B1,B2,C &minerals like calcium,potassium,&Iron,which is treating tuberculosis,hepatitis,ulcer.
*bael is used for Diabetics,the active constituents 'feronia gum'present in bark.This is helpful properties in controlling diabetes.It regulates the production of Insulin.
Bael used in Ayurveda 
*Bael is one of the 'Dashamoolas' i.e roots having anti inflammatory properties.
*The fruit when taken unripe is very effective in improving digestion.
*As per Ayurveda the roots of plant prevent vomiting and Nausea.
